Rosetta Advances Smarter Commerce Agenda with Platinum Sponsorship of Global Summit
Rosetta, the largest independent interactive agency in the U.S., is the platinum sponsor of the Smarter Commerce Global Summit, to be held in San Diego on September 19-21. We spoke with Brian Lucotch, Rosetta’s Chief Technology Officer, to get more details on their Smarter Commerce story, their work with IBM and what they’ll bring to attendees at this year’s summit.
What are some of the highlights of your work with IBM? How do your solutions help clients embrace Smarter Commerce?
Rosetta has been at the forefront of the Smarter Commerce initiative by architecting and implementing next-generation, multi-channel customer engagement platforms and programs. We work with clients across key verticals such as healthcare, consumer package goods and retail, financial services, travel and hospitality and entertainment. More than two years ago, we established the Rosetta Engagement Solution Taxonomy which outlines the core technical capability enablers of cross-channel experience delivery and maps directly to the current Smarter Commerce portfolio. This framework allows us to accelerate the adoption and extension of Smarter Commerce to our customers.
In addition to our platform, our team is also fully experienced on the IBM Smarter Commerce solution suite. In fact, we are one of the largest WebSphere Commerce implementers and are collaborating with the IBM product team to develop the next version of the WebSphere Commerce Starter Store.
In addition, we are using IBM Unica Campaign, Interact and NetInsight to drive some of the largest targeted and tailored campaigns in the Healthcare and Financial Services industries. Our i3 (iCubed) performance dashboard works off of IBM Coremetrics Web Analytics to measure, report on and highlight the individual components of the cross-channel marketing approach and customer engagement. This lets us understand the contribution that each marketing element makes to the whole and to optimize for the whole rather than at the individual channel/tactic level. This approach was most recently designated by Forrester as “Market Leading.”
What are you presenting at the Summit?
Two Rosetta clients presenting at this year’s Summit:
- Michael Prebenda, General Manager, Consumer Health Products for Medco will discuss how the company is moving toward smarter commerce by innovating in the direct-to-consumer online space with an over-the-counter consumer health offering that is personalized based on consumers’ health needs.
- Jeremy Brabec, Senior Software Development Manager from T-Mobile, will provide insights into how T-Mobile is meeting the demands of empowered consumers by enabling telesales agents to sell mobile devices, accessories and plans/services. Jeremy will openly discuss the challenges they faced during design, development and steady-state operations.
In addition to these customer presentations, Rosetta will have a number of presentations at their booth, PL-1 to provide an overview of Rosetta and its Smarter Commerce capabilities, introduce key Rosetta Smarter Commerce case studies and highlight Rosetta service offerings that can accelerate Smarter Commerce adoption.
What are some of the messages you’ll be sharing at the Summit to help customers redefine commerce in the age of the empowered consumer?
At the summit, we will be examining the role of deep actionable insights and customer segmentation and talk about how they are critical to defining and optimizing the cross-channel customer engagement model and delivering a true targeted and tailored experience. We also will talk about how cross-channel engagement tracking is vital to driving a “Closed Loop Commerce” capability and how we believe that mobile device and social enablement should be considered high on the list of multi-channel enablement for the end customer.
Finally, we are excited to share two new developments, a Readiness Evaluation and a Smarter Commerce Roadmap and Maturity Model that will help clients understand their key first steps to successfully adopting and enabling Multi-Channel Customer Engagement.
How do you expect the Smarter Commerce Global Summit to help you reach new customers and maintain your expertise in today’s marketplace?
We expect there will be a number of customers attending who believe in the strategic intent of Smarter Commerce and have implemented pieces of that proposition. We look forward to talking with them about how Rosetta can be a strategic, creative and technology partner, one which has the thought leadership and execution experience needed to help them achieve their Smarter Commerce vision. At the same time we look forward to exchanging ideas with other experts in attendance, customers, partners and IBM SMEs, who share the belief in Smarter Commerce is the next generation of customer engagement.
What are you looking forward to the most at the Smarter Commerce Global Summit?
We are very excited for the chance to talk to customers about their vision for embracing Smarter Commerce and how we can help them achieve their goals and objectives. We are also looking forward to attending some of the detailed technical sessions that will focus on the specific Smarter Commerce portfolio components.
